Our Story
Shword started with two brothers - one in NYC, one in LA - who wanted a way to stay connected while living on opposite sides of the country. Between busy schedules, time zone differences, and life moving fast, we didn't get to see each other as much as we wanted. Building Shword became a way to grow our relationship, create something together, and turn distance into collaboration.
Word is the universal head-nod. It's the shorthand for "I'm with you," "that's true," or "we're on the same page." We just added the "Sh" to smooth it out. Shword…it's that moment when everything clicks, and nothing else needs to be said. If you get it, you get it.
There's a missing element in our designs, placed where you don't expect it. It's subtle, intentional, and meant for the people who notice details.
We focus on elevated streetwear - embroidered pieces, clean fits, and designs that don't try too hard. Stuff you can wear to class, out at night, or wherever the day ends up taking you. Drops happen every 3 - 6 months, kept intentional and never rushed, always focusing on quality and detail.
